THE GLOVEBOX GUIDE

Good friends.
A few roadblocks.

2–4 drivers. The highest mileage + safety bonus wins. Ties share the victory. There’s no mileage target.

  1. Get rolling. Start with six cards. One card is drawn automatically when your turn starts. Tap a card in your hand, then Play or Discard. A Green light lets you drive.
  2. Optional discard pickup. Before playing, you may tap the top discard to replace the card just drawn automatically. The automatic card goes back on top of the deck. You can do this once per turn while the deck still has cards.
  3. Make some miles. Play distance cards when you’re rolling. A Speed limit restricts you to 25 or 50 miles. There’s no limit on how many 200-mile cards you can play.
  4. Throw a roadblock. Play hazards on an eligible rival. Spare tire fixes Flat tire, Gasoline fixes Out of gas, and Repairs fixes Fender bender. After a repair, play Green light on a later turn to drive again. End of limit removes a Speed limit.
  5. Protect your trip. Puncture proof, Extra tank, Driving ace, and Right of way permanently block their matching hazards. Right of way also clears red lights and speed limits, and replaces the need for Green light.
  6. Counter on your next turn. If a rival gives you a matching hazard, play its safety on your next turn for 200 points total. It clears that hazard, restores driving if it was the thing stopping you, and draws one bonus card immediately. Your turn ends; wait until your following turn to play again. A normal safety is worth 100 points and does not grant a bonus draw.
  7. Watch the clock. The host chooses 10–300 seconds, default 60, for your entire turn. When time runs out, a random card is discarded.
  8. Empty deck? Keep going. No more drawing—including discard pickups and bonus draws. Play or discard from your remaining hand. Empty hands are skipped. The game ends as soon as nobody has a legal play.

A safety’s counter bonus expires when your next turn ends. Share the room link with friends; keep the same browser to reconnect. Computer drivers take their own turns.
